I thought I need to have /STRING converted to STRING, when I wrote my
last e-mail. But now, I do not know what I want to do.
My quiestion is how to handle family name for CID fontfiles and CMap
files.
The ftview shows family name for a "type1" CIDFont as follow.
%ftdump HKGOW5A.CID
----- Face number: 0 -----
font name entries
family: /HeiseiKakuGo-W5-Acrobat
----
This name is the /CIDFontName entry.
But the PostScript name for a "CFF" CIDFont is
KozMin-Regular-AcroSub not /KozMin-Regular-AcroSub.
Is there any reasons why FT does so?
Why is there no T1_LiteralToString in FT?
