Different pixel sizes on same screen

Hi. I have a very special screen where the pixels might be of substantially 
different sizes from eachother. On the upper half of the screen, the pixels are 
1 unit wide and 10 units high, but on the lower half of the screen the pixels 
are 1 unit wide but 20 units high. I have already worked with the big quotents 
(10 or 20) one by one and it works very good, but can Freetype handle *both* 
the resolutions when a character is to be prooduced across the border-line 
between the upper and the lower half?

I also just want to thank all Freetype developers, and say I have had great use 
for Freetype.
