Not tried anything official in this direction but would welcome any
help from anyone who wants to either help me to put some more of our
conference together or to get more interest from the DTI/NCC or
possibly even IBM. I've been in touch with IBM a few times but can't
get anything more than a lukewarm response from them. It's as though
their whole attitude is that only advertising agencies do conferences
and LUGs most certainly do not exist.
Those of you who don't know. We've put a conference together at
..... www.swfc.co.uk .... for the 21st of February. People like
Jeremy Allison will give talks about their work and we'll have some
Linux PCs and laptops around the place so that people can play with
them. Got an ISDN connection and a data projector.
