Human Interface Guidelines - tells GNOME (and, GTK2 to an extent, I
guess) programmers how to layout their interfaces. One of the things
about GNOME2 that people either love to bits or hate.

No, although you're right, they are doing similar stuff (or, at least,
talking about doing similar stuff). I hope someone succeeds with doing
it, I think it's badly needed.
