this is not just disconnection and this is not just copyright

the legislation is rumoured (eg
http://boingboing.net/2009/11/19/breaking-leaked-uk-g.html) to be an
enabling bill covering both the internet and copyright with serious
enforcement powers (5 years gaol, armed officials with detention
powers, the right to force secret third party cooperation)

if you haven't got a GnuPG key which is well connected to the local
WOT, you need to think seriously this ASAP (or just give up and leave
the country)
