Please, try with 0.8.5. All these issues should be fixed.
See https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?21765 for gchempaint and
https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?21764 for gcu.

Hello,
one of the upcoming Fedora 9 features is the inclusion of gcc 4.3. A
preliminary attempt to rebuilt the distro with the new compiler has been
made, and it turned out that among others, gchempaint and
gnome-chemistry-utils cannot fail to build:

http://sunsite.mff.cuni.cz/rawhide20071220-gcc43/header-dep/gnome-chemistry-utils-0.8.4-2.fc9.log
Both failures fall within the same category, described by Jakub Jelinek
(Fedora gcc maintainer) as follows:
libstdc++ header dependencies have been streamlined, reducing
unnecessary includes and pre-processed bloat. The STL headers have been
cleaned up, so that the headers don't drag in unnecessary dependencies
which aren't requested by the standard. E.g. <string> no longer
includes <cstdlib>, etc. Most of these bugs will be fixed just by
including the proper headers, <cstdlib>, <cstring>, <cstdio> are the
most common ones I guess.
It would be nice if these problems could be fixed.
Regards,
Julian
