Greetings!  I've added a cvs subdirectory to the ftp download area on
savannah.  This area will contain (at least) the latest cvs binary
packages in .deb format (all arches), .rpm format (i386 only), and
(hopefully) .tgz (sparc solaris).  The .debs are mirrored from the
official Debian package pool automatically.  I hope to get the i386
rpm and sparc tgz to also be automatically generated, though this is
not in place yet.  (.rpm is created from .deb with the program
'alien', which I need to get running on gnudist.gnu.org).  If the
Windows maintainers want to add a mingw package, please do.  The
creation of all the others will be triggered by my uploading a new
Debian package, not with every cvs change.  I upload a cvs package
quite often anyway, so this won't differ significantly.  The Windows
could follow suit, or update whenever someone has produced a good
build.   I'll leave this up to the discretion of Mike and David who
are doing such a great job with the mingw stuff.
