Clisp is ANSI according to their FAQ, although by default they change a
few things they think the standard got wrong - you can get the ANSI
behavior at compile time if you want it.
Clisp is a separate project from gcl, and as far as I know there isn't
any code shared between them. Clisp is a nice piece of work, and right
now they've got more extensions than gcl. For now, anyway ;-) A little
competition is always healthy.
