it appears that the 2-6-1 build has a minor bug. In the final build
line there is a

cat init_pre_gcl.lsp.tmp | sed \

and one of the sed replacement commands reads:

-e "s,@LI-CC@,\"gcc -c -g -O2 -Wa,--execstack -Wall ......
                                 ^
                                bug?

It appears that the gcc command generation line has a comma 
that should not be there.
