Greetings!  Vadim, I'm trying to cross compile on Linux (Debian) with
the mingw package and test under wine.  Do you have any experience in
such things?

Apart from this, I'm thinking we should default to either no
C optimization or the maximum C optimization which does not trigger the
known ansi-tests bug in loading universe.lsp, along with
-Wl,--stack=8388608, on windows.  Could you check out the effects of
these on what you see below?  If the error still persists, a gdb
backtrace would of course help.
