May I suggest you consider using the current cvs head sources, in
Debian package format at
http://packages.debian.org/sid/gclcvs
This and many other such issues have been resolved there. Just
uploaded package -81 last night.
If problems persist, please post your source file.
What is clgtk, and how did it get into the gcl sources?
