Ok, I've figured out a few things on cygwin and got my older version (0.7.9-20121007) working as good as it ever has. I've never resolved the following error: cd doc; texi2dvi gforth.texi Makefile:1042: recipe for target `doc/gforth.dvi' failed make: *** [doc/gforth.dvi] Error 1 After doing a "make clean" and uninstalling ffcall, at least it gets that far again. If I install ffcall, I get libffi also, which appears to be bad. However, the new git repository still fails.
