[gforth] problems trying to run gfort on lubuntu 16.10

Hello, i've just downloaded and installed gforth on lubuntu 16.10 en
when i try to run it i get the following message:

gforth: cannot open image file gforth.fi in path
.:/usr/local/lib/gforth/site-forth:/usr/local/share/gforth/site-forth:/usr/local/lib/gforth/0.7.3:/usr/local/share/gforth/0.7.3
for reading.

anyone knows how can y solve this issue?
