Re Paris - if you can come get something concrete (dates, venue,
accomodation) that is an option.  I would be happy to come to Brno as
it would be more affordable.  

What sort of timescale will you need to confirm the Brno venue?

Ideally we would announce it in April for registrations. (And then
announce Gothenburg in August).  Prior to announcing it we should
sound out possible attendees to get an initial list.
