After a quick look (I shouldn't do that now, really, I have a robot demonstration to run), I think that icculus.org is a strong candidate, mainly because it is game-oriented and run by ex-Loki employer (SDL makers), so it is good to do a community. But still, it is perhaps not optimal to have the CVS and bug tracker on one server and web on the other.I'll be pleased to listen to suggestions, especially from diz (web and forum), marvelous (wiki) and nuage. Anyone can discuss of course.Steph _______________________________________________ glob2-devel mailing list address@hidden http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/glob2-devel
i think we shpold keep savannah for the cvs, i trust them the most for backups and thinks like that...
For the web site, fortum and other, we will have a payng service, anyway, i thinks so. The problem at the begining is that the service now is in the usa, and is not a good service, it is difficul to install thinks ,so from what i know it will move to europe, but in urope there will be a lot less bandwith than now, even if the service is better in any other point of view (i hope)
So, at the begining we were only searching for a place to put the big bandwith, like the downloads of releases
This means we will continue like we did untill now, only we will have a mirror for the downloads.
Of course if you think the service is good for hosting the site and everythink, we can do that too, but i doubt we can have all we have now on a free server.... i mean, i virual server to install everythink...
