People seem to be hankering for a 1.0 release so lets say that we go for it. The way I see it, it should be done as follows:
* Lots of release candidates, more frequent, but not Alpha releases
As opposed to our current system of Alphas, the release candidates will be more frequent, each time converging on a stable 1.0 release.
