As someone pointed out, you may want to use symlinks to the actual
"enabling" of plugins.
It's nice to have --prefix respected always.
But yes, it's also nice that install installs... I've no idea how
to deal with this. I hope someone on -dev or -users will come out
with an acceptable solution.
