Caveats:

* You have to enable the boolean "XVideo" setting in gnashrc to try it.
Even then, Gnash will fall back to regular rendering if there's an
issue with initializing.
* Xv works best for Gnash if your graphics hardware and driver accept
RGB data. Otherwise, colorspace conversion is required. Ffmpeg appears
to be noticeably faster at that job. However, there is still a bug in
Gnash that causes ffmpeg to misconvert in some cases; a fix is on the
way.
* Xv is used for scaling, so the image will blur if you change the
window size. This does not, however degrade quality for movies with
embedded video (e.g. YouTube), since that video would have undergone
the same resizing procedure in software.
* Make sure the Xv headers are installed.
