Follow-up Comment #5, bug #34708 (project gnash):

With startStopped=true this doesn't happen.
The problem seems to be with handling a resize event.
The nominal SWF size is smaller than the one requested to the browser. Would
be also worth checking if it's related to scale mode, that is: does
right-click menu work in the black area (the area in which you don't see the
movie) ?
