Yes, Mtasc does support try/catch.

If you are looking for a big bunch of test cases, you could maybe use the test suite of ASwing? They have literally hundreds of test cases, which build with Mtasc.

If someone can set up the initial testing framework for haXe, I'll be happy to contribute test cases. I just don't know how to do the magic to all the build machinery to add another testing framework based on haXe. I tried to dive in, but I just don't get it.
