Hi Alex,

Essentially, OpenGL ES is a stripped version of OpenGL. Gnash's OpenGL
renderer does use some of the more advanced features of OpenGL (some of
which are not supported by ES). However, it is probably not that
difficult to make the use of those features optional (for example, to
avoid using display lists) in Gnash.

So some work on the Gnash OpenGL code will be needed to be compatible
with OpenGL ES.

Hi Gnash developers,

I am considering to port gnash to a Marvell PXA310 hardware platform. It
comes with bundled OpenGL ES support.

From you experience in porting Gnash, can you comment on the feasiblity?
I know that Gnash do support OpenGL, but can OpenGL ES be a sufficient
enough foundation for Gnash to work?

Thanks in advance to your gracious advice!

Alex Leung.
