That sounds like a packaging bug, because Firefox isn't picking up on
the plugin. It's probably best to report the problem to your distro
packager. In the mean time, you can make sure that libgnashplugin.so
exists in the right location, which usually means either
.mozilla/plugins or /usr/lib/firefox/plugins. You might take the
opportunity to upgrade to a more recent version of Gnash, too...

Mandriva Software management (Rpmdrake 2008) says that
gnash-firefox-plugin 0.8.1-1mdv2008.0 for architecture i586 is
installed. My system is x86_64 but I can't see any x86_64 version to
install in rpmdrake.
