>Description:
Even though the documentation explains that GNATS_ROOT is by default set to 
$prefix/share/gnats/gnats-db, this is not done.

I tried installing to /opt/SKF, but still the configuration-files are put in 
/usr/lib/gnats/gnats-db (or something), while /opt/SKF/share/gnats/ is left 
almost empty.

Try to install elsewhere than /usr

Either one has to use --with-gnats-root, then it works, but there is an error 
in the configure-script.
