The mark_urls routine has been rewritten to do only one pass over the PR text. 
However, this did not result in significant performance improvements. 
Therefore, some config variables were added to allow better control over the 
subroutine. It is now possible to select which types of URL should be marked, 
max lentgth of string sthat it will process (default 100kB) and also to switch 
the entire thing off.
