[Gnewsense-dev] metad wodim / k3b not finding SCSI driver

From: Lars Nooden
Subject: [Gnewsense-dev] metad wodim / k3b not finding SCSI driver
Date: Thu, 11 Feb 2010 21:30:41 +0200
User-agent: Mozilla-Thunderbird 2.0.0.22 (X11/20090707)

In metad, wodim and k3b are not finding the scsi driver for the cd-rw.
Below is an excerpt from dmesg and an example of the error messages.
Below those are the output from 'wodim --devices' and 'wodim -scanbus'

Is the hardware dependent on proprietary drivers or are there Free or
Open Source drivers to import from Debian or Fedora?

Regards,
/Lars
