Careful. They actually just announced they "expect to release a fully
buildable JDK based almost completely on open-sourced code in the
first half of 2007." AFAICT, it's only "almost", it's not now and
it's not clearly GPLv2. Let's wait until it's actually released under
GPLv2 before celebrating: deeds, not good words. See

Classpath Exception is an additional permission over those in the GPL,

escape the Java Trap earlier.
