I would prefer that the forum would be like Trisquel's forum where the
"mailing list is directly connected to the forum", which means the forum
is just the "graphical user interface" for the users of the forum, where
mailing list postings are displayed on the forum, and when people post
on the forum the messages are sent to the members of the relevant
mailing list. I would not prefer there to be a separate forum, but
rather the solution I propose above.
