I found that 'user' for username, and 'live' for password work. Gnewsense does not detect the network hardware on the Del Inspiron machine I intended for this distro; I'll leave the working Trisquel in place. On my Asus EEPC 1015 PE, Gnewsense detects my wired and wireless devices, but I cannot connect to a wireless access point. Trisquel fully works on this machine, too.
