It seems 6510 and compatibles (tested with my 6310) returns the same
error code for "invalid memory type" and "selected memory is empty".
This is the reason why you cannot add a new entry to an empty phonebook
when you specify --find-free. The committed into the cvs some minutes
ago.

I'll look into the other problems too.
