That's correct.  If it did work, whatever that software was wouldn't be
"arch" anymore.

What are you trying to accomplish, and why?  tagging is the mechanism
for "migrating" a category into another archive.  Screwing with archive
contents outside tla's interface is almost always a bad idea.
