Yes. Actually, I have a program called kernimport that is a wrapper around
tla-load-dirs. Kernimport can be given a list of patches and will apply
them in order to an upstream source tree, importing each one as it goes
along with tla-load-dirs. It automatically determines the kernel version
from the Makefile, and the release date from the patch (if using that) or
from the modification date of the Makefile (if importing a tree directly).
If you have changelogs available, it will add them to the commit log
message.
