I think you're missing what Arch's primary target audience is, or
should be.  I AM stupid and lazy, proud of it in fact, and that's
precisely why I love Arch: it pretty much just does its job without my
constantly having to think about it and clean up after it (like CVS).
More time drinking lager and watching football, fewer late nights in
the server room wondering why the repository is horqued AGAIN...
that's the beauty of Arch in my eye.
