Want to make one for vim?
Attached is the relevant part of my vimrc. There are two ways that I
use this:
1) I've got templates for a lot of different programming languages
which are loaded based on the filename when I'm creating a new file.
If any of those templates have @UUIDGEN@ in them, it'll get replaced.
2) <Leader>at will place an arch-tag at the end of the current line.
Also, I use arch on a system without uuidgen (Solaris). It deals with
that case as well.
