[Gnu-arch-users] [BUG] chmod undetected when using linked working copies

When one chmod a file which is --link'ed with the revlib, this chmod is
not detected and the revlib becomes modified which is not detected
either.

Severity
nasty but not important.

Reason
inode signatures dont store file modes.

Workaround
Break hardlinks before chmod a file.

Proprosed solution
Accept an optional 'mode=...' entry in the inode signatures for now
dev=1806:ino=6318359:mtime=1074796952:size=9:mode=644
maybe with tla 1.3 or 2.0 or so we can write indices with mode=
signatures (should give anyone a fair chance of upgrading).
