Yes, I think very simplistic LRU behavior would work wonderfully for revlibs;
it'd be nice if one could just use an option to `library-config' to enable
automatic LRU pruning.

It will behave even better when the backward-patching stuff gets merged...

[I know, I know -- `patches accepted...' :]
