I would rather recommend to divide support into three domains and start
with easier, but take in mind harder. I'm talking here about:
1) NT-based + NTFS
2) NT-based + VFAT
3) 9x-based + VFAT
from the discussion I've come to the conclusion that 1) is more easier
than 2) and 3) and so it would be great to support 1) at the first. Also I
have some doubts about usage of 3) for development of free-software --
that's what Arch as a FS should have in mind IMHO at the first.
Anyway, thank you very much for opening this pandora's box.
