People do "silly" things. And I don't think it's _that_ silly. How
many places would you expect to find "73" in a set of sources that uses
it, say, as some kind of magic number? I could easily see someone
assuming that there's no way it would be anywhere but where intended.
In any case, UUID's are better than some alternatives for such
collisions, but they certainly don't guarantee anything, as you seemed
to imply.
