Okay, I've committed the revert command.

patch-2 has your version, patch-3 adds the following tweaks:

Handled the case of reverting to a previous version
Avoided directly using archive; made it faster and possible to use only tree and revlib
Abort when uncommitted changes are present
Tweaked help to match tla/aba style (and explain the bit about patchlogs)
(note: /aba/skel-command is a good starting point for new scripts)

I accidentally started tweaking the merge, and in the process of fixing that, I used "aba revert". Handy!
