If your filesystem rounds up by blocks, you have already wasted an
average of 0.5 block at the end of each file.

Heh, I was underoptimizing. Technically, the id blocks aren't entirely wasted. The 50% waste for file tails isn't anything to do with Arch or explicit tagging.
