Why can't you do this?

You can't really comment on djb's software without `getting personal' though,
because djb's personality is the main problem with djb's software.  Tom is a
very different person -- he appears to actually sort of care whether people
use his software, and seems far more willing to compromise in order to
achieve that goal.
