Not really. I may disagree with that sentense, but it never annoyed me.
There is also a reason I stopped to edit the wiki and old-timers know it.

This is exactly my position too. I am tired of unproductive talks on this
subject and will support changes that end them. I saw changesets posted
that make {arch} optional and remove the use of certain =files.
