[Gnu-arch-users] Newbie confusion "illegal revision name"

As I learn arch, a few times I've tried to specify a revision, but
didn't realize it needed to be fully qualified:

    $ tla changes patch-3
    changes: illegal revision name: patch-3

I say, "huh?  What's wrong with the revision name?  Does tla not
understand that I have that revision in my project?" and I'd go on
and try something else.

A hint in the error message such as "not a valid fully qualified
revision name" would be helpful.
