Thanks for these patches!  I will incorporate them.  My personal opinion is to 
still keep the -B,
-b and -w as direct opinions to tla diff since these seem to be more common 
cases of custom
options people want from diff... but arbitrary diff options will be definitely 

Let me know of any strong opinions on this matter :-)
