Indeed it now works.  Thanks greatly for looking into it!

I guess I should try to find a more proper mirroring site, but I've not
seen anything else really.  [sv.gnu.org is decent and has arch support
except that it's project-oriented, and it's nice to have a place to put
non-categorized stuff.]
