your offer is welcome :-)
* there is a list of algorithms
<http://www.gnu.org/software/gnu-crypto/#helpwanted> we would like to
have/add to the library. if you feel/want/can implement any one or
more of them, that would be nice.
* contributing ASN.1 DER classes is also welcome. this is because (a)
it would reduce our dependancy on non-GNU code, and (b) paves the way
to add implementations for a PKCS library/toolset. (i have worked in
the past on some ASN.1 code that you or other potential contributors
are welcome to use/hack to produce GNU Crypto ASN.1 DER code).
...so it's your choice.
on the administrative side there is one thing to bear in mind: copyright
of contributions to GNU Crypto must be assigned to the FSF. there are
two forms of assignments: specific (to certain classes/files) and
general (covers all work now and in the future for classes/files in a
specific project; i.e. GNU Crypto). which one to adopt is up to the
contributor, but such assignment must be finalised before code goes
into the CVS. this only needs to happen when there are classes/code
ready to be checked in.
look forward to your reply + cheers;
