yes, this package and others (key agreements for example) are part of
the upcoming version 2.0.

you may find the code in the gnu.testlet packages (CVS and tarballs)
helpful for more complete functional code --incl. in some cases
handling of exceptions.
nevertheless, if you can contribute improvements to our documentation
that would be great.
