I tried to build the RPM but I received a compiler error.
gnu/crypto/tool/SaslConnection.java: In class
`gnu.crypto.tool.SaslConnection':
gnu/crypto/tool/SaslConnection.java: In constructor
`(java.lang.String,java.net.URL)':
gnu/crypto/tool/SaslConnection.java:99: Can't find method
`getUserInfo()' in type `java.net.URL'.
String userInfo = url.getUserInfo();
when I did some looking the getUserInfo class isn't there. It's
probably because I'm using the version of libgcj that came with RH 9
(3.2.2).
I looked at the fedora core 1 libgcj source and found that the version
it comes with (3.3.2) does have the getUserInfo() method.
I think I'm having memory problems (bad hardware) with the fedora
machine. Once I get that fixed, I'll see if I can build the RPMS on
fedora core 1 using your SPEC file.
Is it possible to upgrade libgcj without having to upgrade gcc?
