That's all well and good for a corporate network.
However for home use it is simply unsuitable.

There is a considerable difference between going out of your way
to f*ck yourself and a system that is already f*cked when it comes
off the installation media. Sound engineering can easily mititgate
the damage posed by the sort of idiot you describe.
Some dm's in their default configuration simply won't let you logon as root.
