It is not your task to solve the compatibility issues of the customer
(that would be an unaccountable risk), but neither must you keep the
customer from solving them on his own if he wants to expend the
efforts.  That is the reason for the requirement not to forbid reverse
engineering and modification of the binaries.

But the costs for that are the customer's problem.
