It doesn't.  So what?  Do you think one is required to sign an oath of
loyalty and obediance before being permitted to write Free Software?

Not only must you sign an oath of loyalty and obedience (identified by the initials "GPL"). You must also commit to memory verbatim the 'dotCommunist Manifesto'.

Once you take the GPL oath you must submit not only your source code but also the derivative wife, kids, house and family pets.
(The Church of Scientology is not the only racket going.)

Failure to comply will result in revocation of all Free Software Foundation cult membership credentials as a bona fide Gnutian.
